3 things I’d like for my next birthday #FridayReflections

December 9, 2016

One of the things I look forward to in a new year is that it coincides with my birthday. A couple of weeks into every new year sees me commence a new year of my own. I turn thirty-three on my next birthday. It has a nice ring to it. In any case, I’m hoping thirty-three is better than thirty-two.

Here are three things I’d like for my next birthday {a not-so-subtle hint to some people!}:

While I have too many books on my ever-growing list, here are some I wouldn’t mind unwrapping on my birthday.

I love notebooks, journals, pens and anything stationery. I have a drawer full of notebooks — some used, most unused. But I love them all! Here are some others I’ve loved.

 A stress-free year ahead

2016 has been pretty crappy and pretty damn stressful. If nothing else, I’d love for my thirty-third year to be stress-free and calm. I’d love to have more mindful moments, less financial stress, less personal issues, less work stress, and better physical and mental health.

So there you go! If you’re thinking of gifting me stuff, please just wish me a stress-free and content year ahead. Maybe with many wishes, it’ll have to happen!

What things would  you like at your next birthday?

Do share!

2. The driving force of your life
3. Three things you’d like for your next birthday
4. “The splendid thing about falling apart silently…is that you can start over as many times as you like.” ― Sanober Khan, A Thousand Flamingos. Use this in your post or an inspiration for one.
