Week 3 of #12WBT February 2017

It’s been three weeks of 12WBT so far. Week 1 and 2 were quite good {even though I didn’t update Week 2}. At the end of Week 2, I went away for the weekend for a wedding down the south coast. That meant a bit of indulgence but luckily, it didn’t do as much damage as I’d feared. I only gained 100 grams from Week 2.

I sort of lost my mojo at the start of Week 3 due to some personal issues playing in my head. Instead of a full-on cardio session on Monday, I just went for a 30 minute walk. On Tuesday, I was exhausted and didn’t wake up in time to hit the gym in the morning and when I tried to go in the evening, there was no parking! So I ended up working out at home which for me, is not the same level of intensity as I do at the gym. However, I was back on the exercise wagon from Wednesday to Saturday.

On the eating front, I stuck to most of my diet except for two days when due to being tired, I was eating to keep myself awake. The meals continue to be good. The meal prep has been going well. I just wish sometimes, I had a personal chef to make my meals for me! It takes up an entire arvo or evening. Oh well.

Week 4 starts today and it’s mini-milestone week. Which means measurement time again and a fitness test again. I’m hoping my motivation is back on and I don’t fall off the wagon like I did last week.

    I’ve hit a slump in my fitness regime too but at least I’ve been doing something at home. Fingers crossed I find my energy again this week.

    I’m tempted to check back over my old 12WBT posts to remind myself of what it was like… but don’t think I want to do that to myself! Go you, I think it’s great you’ve already been looking at alternatives and sustainable (long term) options for exercise etc..

    Good going! There are such ebb abd falls with any fitness routine but you are doing great. About the chef, I wish for the same.

    I’ll have to pick your brain about this program when we next meet up – I’d be keen to see how you’re finding things a few more weeks down the track. Good on you for sticking with it!!!!

      Sure thing Kirsty…I did this back in 2012 to initially lose weight and it worked wonders for me. I lost 6 kgs on the program and then continued on my own and lost 4 more. I kept it off for a while until about mid 2015 when I got into a relationship and kinda got slack with my eating. This time around, I don’t want to slack off after it’s over.

    It’s the meal prep that is all the difference isn’t it! I’ve been off my wagon for three weeks. Got to get back going as I lost 7kg and I’d love to lose another 4… I’m feeling pretty shit at the moment so taking the pressure off. I do love the recipes on the 12wbt.
